This film shows promise, with authentic performances and a unique twist on the virtual video call format. The integration of a video game adds an engaging layer, and the glitch effects paired with strong sound design enhance the atmosphere. However, the pacing becomes an issue. The first thirty minutes, though carried by four talented performers, struggle to engage as they largely consist of casual online conversation without much visual or narrative drive. Condensing this portion to around fifteen minutes would significantly improve the flow. When the story does begin to escalate, the pacing risks losing the viewer’s interest, as they might have already begun to disengage. The story’s intensity peaks in Level 002, though lingering edits in the climax diminish the impact. Overall, it’s a compelling project with room for sharper editing to fully realize its potential.

Great watch. I think I saw the short of this in another festival? Very creative use of animation to portray the horror. By the end, I truly didn't like the little demon. The only negative I have is the very end was drawn out a bit for me. But, truly enjoyed it.

Wow! Its been interesting to see the swap from shortfilm into feature. You pulled it off Gary. Congratulations. I have to admit, I was a bit sceptical about this transition, but you made it work, even though there was no relief, no happy ending. It was all dark, going down, down into inevitable fall, which is still cool. What I did not like personally, was the long chats in the beginning with 4 friends. I was like, when is this movie going to start. I did not get that part at all, and its relations to story. But the when things started to happen, ouh boy it did happen. I loved the gaming visuals related to real-life and all the sound-design was fantastic. From minimalistic approach (in front of computer) to very exciting storytelling. Well done.
